The MACH-1 starts with a 3-inch equal-length upper section that merges into our signature 4-inch oval mid-section. That design is what gives the car its bold, GT3-inspired character. On the G8X it completely transforms the sound of the S58, eliminating the platform's notorious rasp and replacing it with a smooth, refined exhaust note — a high-pitched, exotic tone under partial and full throttle, holding a deep, rich, masculine note at idle, with both catted and catless downpipes.

Same system, different chassis
This is that same MACH-1, built for the shorter G87. Everything through the cross-over is identical: the sizing, the material, the welds, the character. Only the non-critical lengths behind the cross-over change to suit the M2.

Fitment and clearance
Most aftermarket systems scrape heavily on lowered cars, and plenty of them scrape even at stock ride height. The G8X MACH-1 clears exceptionally well on both, tested at stock and lowered, and ships with a drop brace that replaces the factory brace for additional clearance where it matters. The G87 system is built and tested to that same standard before it ships.

What you get
Our complete mid-section, which bolts directly to the factory rear muffler. It's also compatible with any aftermarket rear section designed to connect to the factory mid-section. All installation hardware comes with the kit, so there's nothing extra to source.
